Piano Slam is a STEAM-integrated arts education program and annual districtwide poetry competition produced by Dranoff 2 Piano Fusion in partnership with Miami-Dade County Public Schools. The program uses classical music and spoken word poetry as tools to develop language arts and science skills in middle and high school students. Piano Slam has served more than 1,000 students annually since 2009 and has received more than 15,600 poetry submissions over its history.
