Dranoff 2 Piano Fusion 2026/27 Season
Celebrating 40 Years of Making Music
Dranoff 2 Piano Fusion turns 40, and every program this season reaches beyond two pianos. A string quartet and guest bassist in November. A flamenco dancer in February. An all-star New Orleans ensemble in March. And in April, Miami’s top young poets. Four programs. Four venues across Miami-Dade. One season built to be heard and seen.
Dranoff’s 40th anniversary season opens with a world premiere by Grammy-nominated composer Adam Schoenberg, performed by internationally acclaimed pianists Glen Inanga and Rebeca Omordia alongside the Amernet String Quartet and guest bassist Paola Garcia. The program also celebrates the rich legacy of Black classical composers. Four decades. One unforgettable night.

Where flamenco fire meets classical elegance. Madrid’s acclaimed Dúo Scarbó — pianists Laura Scarbó and Cristina Lucio-Villegas — perform timeless works by Spain’s greatest composers alongside Spanish dancer África Ramírez, recently seen as a soloist in a Florida Grand Opera presentation of Bizet’s Carmen. The universe is the limit. Miami’s top young poets rocket beyond the boundaries of Earth in a dazzling mashup of spoken word, music and space exploration, inspired by the cosmos and fueled by the rhythm of two pianos. Now in its 18th year, Piano Slam caps six months of classroom residencies and a districtwide poetry competition. Four students win $1,000. One night changes everything.
