What happens when professional dancers and world-class pianists share the stage?

On July 11, Dimensions Dance Theatre of Miami and Dranoff 2 Piano Fusion will come together for a one-night-only collision of movement and music—where choreography and piano don’t just coexist, they actively shape one another in real time. At the heart of the evening is piano duo Stephanie Ho and Saar Ahuvia, whose artistry anchors a program that moves fluidly between the iconic and the new: beloved works by Beethoven, bold new choreography by Dayoung Jung and Yanis Eric Pikieris, and Fantasia de Tres Mundos, Dranoff’s commissioned work by Martin Bejerano.

Stephanie & Saar bring “creative music making of an extraordinarily high level,” while Dimensions Dance Theatre is known for “contemporary, cutting-edge choreography in an art form that often showcases works created centuries ago.” Together, they don’t simply share the stage—they expand it.

Join us for the final concert of the season and a rare convergence of two heavyweights creating something unforgettable, live at the Moss Center.

Things are about to lift off in a big way!

Dranoff 2 Piano Fusion is preparing to take Piano Slam where it has never gone before: Beyond Boundaries. This new theme launches the program into the stratosphere, blending classical music with the wonder of astronomy and space exploration to spark curiosity in entirely new ways.

Designed to expand how students experience music and the universe around them, Beyond Boundaries will connect classical performance with cosmic discovery, inviting young audiences to think like explorers. Educational resources and activities provided by NASA will help students investigate new worlds, distant stars, and the mysteries of deep space, while seeing parallels between artistic creativity and scientific imagination. The experience will extend far beyond the classroom. Participating Piano Slam schools will visit the Phillip and Patricia Frost Museum of Science and planetarium, bringing these concepts to life through immersive, real-world exploration.

And this is only the beginning. We’ll officially blast off into the new academic year this August with our first teacher training of the season, equipping educators to bring Beyond Boundaries into classrooms across Miami and beyond, and setting the stage for a year of discovery, creativity, and cosmic-scale inspiration.

Help us bring programs like this to life! Your support keeps arts education alive, reaching further, higher, and beyond boundaries.

Just in time for our nation's 250th birthday, enjoy a piano four hands performance of Leonard Bernstein’s “America” from West Side Story, performed by Maxime Zecchini and David Bismuth. Bursting with rhythmic vitality and theatrical flair, this beloved number remains one of Bernstein’s most recognizable and enduring works, and a fitting celebration of the holiday weekend and the diverse spirit of America.

Peter Asher: Everywhere Man

July 3 to July 9 at Coral Gables Art Cinema

260 Aragon Avenue

Coral Gables, FL 33134

Peter Asher’s extraordinary life has intersected with some of the greatest artists and musical moments of the last six decades. A child actor who became a pop star and then a manager and producer to the likes of James Taylor and Linda Ronstadt, he is a Zelig-like figure who remains a vital creative force to this day. Featuring interviews with Paul McCartney, Carole King, and many more. Don't miss Peter Asher: Everywhere Man at Coral Gables Art Cinema from July 3 to July 9.

Every Monday, collaboARTive brings people together for Noche de Arte—a free, accessible creative community night at InterContinental Miami (Gallery 100), 6–8 PM. It’s a simple format with a big ripple effect: meet local artists, make something with your hands (collage materials provided), and connect with neighbors and visitors in a welcoming space.

For July, collaboARTive features Artist-in-Residence Emily Peters, a multidisciplinary artist whose practice spans sculpture, clothing and jewelry artisanship, sound, and sustainable design—bringing deep experience in metal-working, textile design, and vocal music/sound exploration into a sustainability-rooted, sensory practice.
