For four decades, Dranoff 2 Piano Fusion has brought extraordinary artists from around the world to Miami, commissioned new works, crossed genres and cultures, and found new ways to bring audiences together through music. Now we celebrate our 40th anniversary with an unforgettable opening night. |

Dranoff Impact ![]() The new school year is underway, and Piano Slam is already revving up for a season of creativity and discovery. We recently welcomed educators for our first teacher workshop of the year, introducing them to Beyond Boundaries, this season’s theme connecting music, poetry, astronomy and space exploration. And the response has us ready for liftoff: 96.8% of participating teachers said the workshop provided new and creative ways to inspire their students, while 83.9% said they liked this year’s Beyond Boundaries theme. The momentum continues with our next teacher workshop on November 3, as we prepare to bring Piano Slam back into Miami-Dade classrooms for another year! Help us keep programs like Piano Slam reaching, inspiring and creating new possibilities for Miami-Dade students. Your support makes it possible. Consider making a donation today. |
Around the Community ![]() Miami-Dade County’s public budget hearings are coming up, and it’s important that the arts community makes its voice heard. While Mayor Daniella Levine Cava’s proposed budget maintains funding for arts and culture, the budget process is not yet complete. As discussions continue around other County services facing potential cuts, adjustments could still impact cultural funding. Our presence matters. We encourage our community to attend the public budget hearings on September 3 and September 17 at 5:01 p.m. at the Stephen P. Clark Center, 111 NW 1st Street, and show support for continued investment in arts and culture. We would also like to thank Mayor Levine Cava and the Miami-Dade County Commission for recognizing the value that arts and cultural organizations bring to our community. Now, let’s make sure that support remains strong! |
